Maturidade Digital em Serviços Financeiros: Uma Aplicação do Modelo de Berghaus e Back (2016) no Brasil

Objetivo do estudo: Mensurar a percepção da maturidade digital por parte de gestores do segmento de intermediação financeira.
Metodologia/abordagem: Foi aplicada uma pesquisa em 305 gestores, diretores e executivos C-level de empresas de serviços financeiros atuantes no território nacional.
Principais resultados: O artigo sugere que o segmento de intermediação financeira se autopercebe como maduro digitalmente, sendo os bancos, especialmente seus executivos, os que possuem uma visão mais otimista de sua digitalização.
Contribuições teóricas/metodológicas: O artigo avançado na literatura de escalas, ao validar a aplicação da escala de maturidade digital de Berghaus e Bach (2016), que havia sido testada no setor de hotéis e franquias, e com algumas ponderações, a escala também funciona para empresas do setor financeiro.
Relevância/originalidade: O estudo demonstra a jornada que as empresas devem fazer, seja para se manter ou para chegar na liderança da digitalização.
